United Glass was established in 1977 as a glass trading company with an initial capital of 100,000/- KD. The primary objective of the company was to import and supply glass to its sister concern Kuwait Aluminium Co. and the Kuwait market in general.

The company in 1988 was relocated from Shuwaikh to East Ahmadi Industrial Area # 6 Plot No’s 57 - 59. The activities of the company are diversified with the procurement of the latest glass processing machinery for its operation. The company is now one of the leading glass processor of double glazing, tempered, mirror, stained glass, sand blasted glass, edge grinding, glass beveling and decorative glass.

UGC is an integrated total service package company in association with its sister companies.Arabian Light Metals, Kuwait Aluminium and Kuwait Metals.In June 1999 the company was awarded the prestigious ISO-9002 Quality Management system certification.
